Python development that ships.
Django web applications, FastAPI services, data pipelines and automation - built by developers who have shipped Python in production for years, not bootcamp grads on a learning curve.
Why Python
Why businesses choose Python
Python is the lingua franca of modern software for a reason. It is fast to write, easy to maintain, and backed by the strongest ecosystem of libraries in any language - from web frameworks to data tools to AI. For most backend, data and automation work, it is the right call.
Mature web frameworks
Django and FastAPI are battle-tested in production at scale. Authentication, admin panels, migrations, async APIs, automatic documentation - the heavy lifting is already done, so you pay for business logic, not boilerplate.
The best data ecosystem there is
Pandas, NumPy, Polars, Airflow, Prefect, scikit-learn, PyTorch - Python is the default language for anything data-heavy. If your application touches reporting, analytics or ML, Python keeps the whole stack in one language instead of bolting on a separate service.
Excellent for automation
Scrape, transform, integrate, schedule, alert. Python is the default tool for "this script does the thing every business has someone manually doing right now" - and it scales from a single cron job to a full workflow platform.
First-class AI integration
Every major AI provider - OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, AWS - publishes their official SDK in Python first. If you want to ship AI-powered features, Python is the path of least resistance.
Our Capabilities
What we build with Python
Django web applications
Full-featured web applications with authentication, admin panels, complex data models and REST APIs. Django Rest Framework for clean API design, Celery for background jobs, and Django's ORM for solid, maintainable data access. Great for CRMs, internal tools, customer portals and SaaS products.
FastAPI services
High-performance APIs and microservices with automatic OpenAPI documentation, type validation via Pydantic, and async support out of the box. Ideal for backend-for-frontend services, third-party integrations, or any API that needs to be fast and self-documenting.
Data pipelines and ETL
Production-grade data pipelines that pull from multiple sources, transform reliably, and load into your warehouse or operational systems. Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, or just plain scheduled Python - we pick the right level of complexity for the job.
Automation and integrations
Replace the manual processes nobody enjoys - invoice scraping, CRM sync, report generation, document processing. We build robust automation that logs every action, handles failure gracefully, and saves your team real hours every week.

Frequently asked questions
When is Python the right choice for our project?
Python shines when your project involves data processing, machine learning, scientific computing, automation, or rapid prototyping. It is also an excellent choice for backend APIs and web applications, especially when you need to integrate with data tools or AI services. If your project is heavily real-time or needs to handle massive concurrent connections, Node.js or Go can sometimes be a better fit - we will tell you honestly.
Do you use Django or FastAPI?
Both - we pick based on the project. Django is excellent for full-featured web applications with admin panels, authentication, and complex data models out of the box. FastAPI is our go-to for high-performance APIs and microservices where you need automatic OpenAPI docs, async support and fast response times. We will recommend the right one after our discovery call.
Can you take over an existing Python codebase?
Yes. We regularly inherit Python projects from other agencies or in-house teams. We start with a full code audit - covering architecture, dependencies, test coverage, security and deployment - and then propose a clear plan for stabilising it before adding new features. No drama, no rewriting from scratch unless it is genuinely the right call.
Do you work with data and machine learning?
Yes. We build data pipelines, ETL workflows, dashboards, and integrate with ML services like OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock and Hugging Face. We are not a dedicated data-science consultancy, but we are very comfortable shipping data-heavy applications that combine traditional backend work with ML inference.
How much does Python development cost?
It depends on scope. A focused FastAPI microservice can be £8,000–£20,000. A full Django web application with integrations is more typically £25,000–£75,000. Larger data platforms run higher.
