The Challenge
Merit Hotels manages multiple properties across their group. Each property generates daily revenue data that the leadership team needs to track, compare, and forecast against targets. Before working with us, that process was entirely manual.
Revenue tracking was done through a complex web of spreadsheets shared across departments. Data was entered by hand, often delayed by days, and prone to human error. Figures were regularly inaccurate, making it difficult for the management team to understand how individual properties were performing at any given time.
Forecasting was little more than guesswork. Without a reliable, centralised view of revenue data, the leadership team was making strategic decisions based on incomplete or outdated information. They needed a single source of truth - a platform that could pull together revenue data from across the group and present it clearly, in real time.
What We Built
We designed and built a bespoke revenue management platform tailored to Merit Hotels' specific workflows and reporting requirements.
The platform provides real-time dashboards that give the leadership team instant visibility into revenue performance across every property in the group. Each hotel's data is presented alongside targets, forecasts, and historical comparisons, so trends and anomalies are easy to spot at a glance.
Multi-property support was central to the design. The system allows managers to drill down into individual properties or view aggregated group-level data. Role-based access ensures that hotel managers see their own property's figures, while directors and the MD get the full picture.
We built automated reporting that generates daily, weekly, and monthly summaries without anyone having to lift a finger. Reports are delivered directly to the relevant stakeholders, replacing hours of manual spreadsheet work. The platform also integrates with Merit Hotels' existing booking systems, pulling data automatically rather than relying on manual entry.
